This is an old revision of the document!
It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend and contribute to the 9th International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Reliability (MMR2015) which will take place in Tokyo, Japan, on June 1-4, 2015, hosted by the Reliability Engineering Association of Japan.
The MMR conferences serve as a forum for discussing fundamental issues on mathematical methods in reliability theory and its applications. It is a forum that brings together reliability engineers in various fields, quality and safety experts, statisticians and data scientists, from within a central focus on reliability. As a major international forum on reliability, it attracts increasing number of researchers from all continents of the world.
The topics of the Conference include (but are not limited to):
I. Probabilistic methods
II. Statistical models
III. Applications
Deadline: December 31, 2014
Please follow the instruction for authors and submit your extended abstract to EasyChair for MMR2015.
All speakers will have to submit their extended abstracts (4-8 pages, with the templates provided below) in PDF format to EasyChair for MMR2015 by December 31, 2014. The maximum length of these extended abstracts is 8 pages. You can use LaTeX2e or Microsoft Word to create your extended abstract. But you are asked to submit your extended abstract in PDF format.
Extended abstracts should be submitted to EasyChair for MMR2015.
Download the templates below.
| Files for LaTeX2e Users | |
| LaTeX2e Sample with Figure | sample-MMR.tex, Figure1.eps |
| Class File for LaTeX2e | mmr2015.cls and multirow.sty |
| Sample in PDF | sample-MMR2015.pdf |
| Files for Microsoft Word Users | |
| Word Format | MMR2015_MSExtendedAbstractFormat.doc |
| Word Format in PDF | MMR2015_MSExtendedAbstractFormat.pdf |
An Acrobat PDF version of the final submission of your extended abstract should also be provided. We strongly recommend you to create papers using LaTeX2e.
We use EasyChair, which is a conference management system, for handling your submissions. This is an independent service and you will be asked to create a user account on their website, to log into EasyChair for MMR2015.
Here is a detailed instruction on how to use EasyChair.
Invited sessions are 90 minutes - 3 talks in a particular session.
Time for each session.
The class file mmr2015.cls is equivalent to mmr2013.cls, which was used for MMR 2013. This class file has its origin at latex8.sty, a style file for IEEE CS Conference, and has been adopted to LaTeX2e and maintained by people around APARM. We appreciate their efforts and generosity.
