Information on Accommodation

MMR 2015 Executive Committee doesn’t have any contract with any hotels. However we would like to provide some basic idea on how to find your accommodation.

The conference venue is located near a subway station, Myougadani Station (M-23), on Marunouchi Subway Line operated by Tokyo Metro. Here is the route map by Tokyo Metro.

But this route map may lead you some misunderstanding on what it really does.. The true map looks like this.

Anyway your primary candidates will be the stations on this subway line. Here is a partial list of major stations each of which has major hotel(s) around it.

  • Ikebukuro Station (M-25)
  • Kourakuen Station (M-22)
  • Shinjuku Station (M-08)

The below is a list of luxury hotels around these stations. The hotels around these three stations listed below have access by Airport Limousine Bus from and to both Narita Airport and Haneda Airport. We also add links to TripAdvisor and Booking.com for seeking hotels around these spots. We note that do not affiliate any of them.

Ikebukuro Station

The conference revenue is located on Marunouchi Subway Line, two stations from Ikebukuro Station to Myougadani Station.

There are two major hotels near Ikebukuro Station.

Kourakuen Station

This station is just next to Myougadani Station on Marunouchi Subway Line.

There is a major hotel which has Airport Limousine access from and to both Narita Airport and Haneda Airport. If you take JR line, the nearest station is Suidobashi Station on JR Soubu Line

Shinjuku Station

Shinjuku, is one of the major hub station in Tokyo area. You need to take JR line from Shinjuku to Ikebukuro, then to take Marunouchi Subway Line from Ikebukuro to Myougadani. Though Marunouchi Subway Line can take you from Shinjuku directly to Myougadani, we don’t recommend to do so. It’s simple but takes time double. Some feels only double, since the train hour is 30 min. Please remember that we have rush hours among the whole train network around 7am-0830am on weekdays. Shinjuku station is one of the most crowded station in Japan.

You can also take Narita Express from Narita Airport to Shinjuku Station.

Asakusa Station

The banquet will take place at Asakusa View Hotel on June 3, 2015. Since the train route between the conference venue and the banquet venue is complicated, we will send all delegates between these two place by buses chartered by MMR 2015 Executive Committee.
