Call for Papers (Extended Abstracts)

Topics of MMR2015

The topics of the Conference include (but are not limited to):

II. Statistical models

  • PHM (prognostic health management)
  • Tests and accelerated tests
  • Return of experience
  • Bayesian Reliability estimation

III. Applications

  • Computational methods, computer-aided model generation, case studies and application software in technical systems: power engineering (power systems, thermal and nuclear power plants), electrotechnics (power apparatus), electronics and mechanics.

Submission

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Please follow the instruction for authors and submit your extended abstract to EasyChair for MMR2015.

Instruction for Authors

All speakers will have to submit their extended abstracts in PDF format to EasyChair for MMR2015 by December 31, 2014. The maximum length of these extended abstracts is 8 pages. You can use MS-Word or LaTeX to create your extended abstract. But you are advised to submit your extended abstract in PDF format.

Extended abstracts should be submitted to EasyChair for MMR2015.

An Acrobat PDF version of the final submission of your extended abstract should also be provided. We strongly recommend you to create papers using LaTeX2e.

Note on EasyChair Usage

We use EasyChair, which is a conference management system, for handling your submissions. This is an independent service and you will be asked to create a user account on their website, to log into EasyChair for MMR2015.

  • If you have never used EasyChair, as an author or a chair, please open up EasyChair for MMR2015, click “Sign up for an account”, and follow the instructions. You will be sent an email requesting your contact information, and to confirm your account. After this you will be able to log in: click “New Submission” to submit your paper. After creating your account you may modify your personal information and submit a paper at any time
  • If you have your own EasyChair account, please log in with your account.
  • If you have forgotten your EasyChair password, visit the EasyChair password recovery page.

Note on time for speakers and sessions

Invited sessions are 90 minutes - 3 talks in a particular session.

  • Plenary speakers: 45 minutes with 5 minutes discussion time (50 minute session)
  • Invited speakers: 25 minutes with 5 minutes discussion time (30 minute talk)
  • Contributed speakers: 15 minutes with 5 minutes discussion time (20 minute talk)

Time for each session.

  • Invited sessions are 90 minutes.
  • Contributed sessions are 60-120 minutes.
